The following new enhancements were added to Versions 6.300 and 5.800:
New field added to employee screen 4 to suppress printing the employee net direct deposit
New field added to client screen 1 to allow the user to use a different check style for live payroll checks than direct deposit payroll checks
New field added to GL/Setup/Payroll Accounts---Payroll Service (GL Set 2) to allow the user to override the GL account for Worker’s Compensation when billing Worker’s Compensation
New menu option under Employee---Active Employee Alpha; this menu filters out all employees not marked Active and displays only Active Employees
The above changes will not affect how you are currently using SLS unless you choose to use the new enhancements.
There are several structure changes and a replace utility in this release. As always it is VERY important to backup your SLS tree and the SLS SQL clients need to backup the SLS tree and the SLS SQL database BEFORE applying this update.
IMPORTANT for our SQL ezSLS users. It is very important to call SLS Customer Support prior to applying this update. Manual steps will have to be taken by our ezSLS programmers in order for your first ezSLS import is done.
